On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, during the biennial meeting of the Association of Theological Schools (ATS), Holy Apostles College and Seminary was unanimously voted in as an associate member.
This does not mean that Holy Apostles has ATS accreditation but that as associate members with special status, the college and seminary is on the short track to accreditation, which will hopefully occur in June of 2016 at ATS’s next biennial meeting. (Most institutions have to wait for five years after receiving associate membership!)
Once Holy Apostles has full accreditation in ATS, the college and seminary will be dually accredited – both by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (by which it is currently accredited) and by the Association of Theological Schools.
Holy Apostles College & Seminary would like to thank the many persons within their community who invested their time, talent and energy in helping to make this happen. This is a huge milestone in the college and seminary’s moving forward.
