Dear Holy Apostles’ Seminarians, Students and Faculty,

Welcome back to studies — and here we go!  We have a wonderful opportunity given to us for a Christmas time tour of the Holy Land.

We have cooperated in the past with the host: The Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies, which is an organization that offers subsidized tours of the Holy Land — because it is limited to persons studying for active ministry and lay leadership in the Church — at a recognized Catholic Seminary or Bible College.  HACS is both!  The experience qualifies for College Credit.   Seminarians and those in full-time on-line studies are eligible —  and it is also offered to faculty and their spouses.

The tour is: December 20, 2017 to January 2, 2018.  Take a look at the program description and itinerary (click here).

It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.  But as a seminarian I took advantage of this tour — twice — because of its great value — not only economically, but more importantly, spiritually.  Our itinerary will present us with Christmas Eve mass in the caves of the “Shepherds’ Fields” in Bethlehem!   It doesn’t get any better than that!

Time is of the essence because airfare is included (from New York to Tel Aviv) but the overall cost goes up as time goes by.  Best rates are now until September 21st.  Registration remains open until later October.  I hope you will consider this offer quickly and make plans to join us.

Many blessings,

Fr. Jeffrey “Skip” Thompson, MSA
Dean of Men, Holy Apostles College and Seminary
